Dubai Mall is my absolute favorite place to be as I do my cardio here.. I mean my shopping . Along with plethora of brands and stores popping in there is a wide variety of dining options available too!
Spotted Scoozi in Dubai Mall that serves the two most popular cuisines, Japanese and Italian. At first I was wondering which cuisine to choose but since there was large variety my guests and I decided to order the best from both.
They have fantastic selection of coolers to begin with. My favorite of all was the strawberry cooler, so refreshing & the fruit flavor bursts out making even the most warmest days go cool. For appetizers my guests & I selected mozzarella crocante, vegetable spring rolls, Tricolore (burrata dish) and avocado maki. Surprisingly everyone voted for avocado maki & crocante to be the favorites from this set of courses. Rest of the dishes werent less delicious but these two were just perfect!
For mains we all went italian as vegetarian selections were not too many in japanese. We ordered a Margarita pizza, gnocchi quattro formaggi, ravioli & Farfelle Al Funghi. Our favorite was definitely the gnocchi quattro formaggi as it was so creamy & so rich! All their dishes are well portioned and their pasta are all fresh! My guests were truly impressed with the main courses & so was I.
For desserts we opted for Chocolate fondant & Flourless chocolate cake. Both of them rich, chocolaty and simply superb! Lacked a bit in presentation but overall tasted really good!
My only concern was the service as it was a bit slow post the appetizers and the staff were hesitant to give their suggestions on the dishes. Also they weren’t attentive enough as many a times I had to repeat my queries.
Pro tip: If you ask for a table towards the fountains you get the perfect view without having to stand in crowds or even in heat for that matter of fact. Paired with delicious food, Scoozi makes the perfect place to dine in.

We were invited by Logma team to celebrate their first anniversary and the launch of their new menu. Logma has been like a regular hangout for me now. Whenever my friends and I want to chill out, we generally end up at Logma. However we always end up ordering logma fries & vegetable sambousas or cheese zaater bites. I had never had the privilege of having a proper meal at Logma until now. Knowing me, I love exploring the options for vegetarians and when I was been informed that there are ample vegetarian dishes to try, I jumped on the opportunity.
As I mentioned earlier, we had been to Logma previously but that was in the evening and late nights. The experience is different when reviewing versus when casually hanging out. This time I chose to visit at day time and as its very warm we were seated inside the restaurant. Simple wooden decor with hanging lanterns & articles of woven palm leaves gave a very modern yet traditional feel to the restaurant.
We started our tasting session with some delicious cheese sambousas & the super famous logma fries. The cheese sambousas were exceptional! They have oman chips ( our beloved). Crispy, oozing with cheese & slight taste of spices from the chips, these sambousas won me over! Other winner for me was the logma fries with khaleeji spices & fried herbs which were super unique. For drinks we chose, passion of Arabia & horlicks shake.
Our next dishes to try were the pomegranate & mozzarella salad, cheese omelette, halloumi khameer & felafel khameer. Each dish is of a generous portion & the pomegranate & mozzarella salad stole the show! It is a fantastic blend of rocca, vinaigrette dressing , pomegranate pearls & fresh mozzarella. The cheese omelette was fluffy, cheesy & heavy to have. A bit disappointed with the halloumi khameer as the dressing overpowered the actual taste of halloumi cheese. It was a bit too tomato-ey for me. I loved the felafel khameer though, light and filled with fresh veggies, tahina sauce , felafels & pickles. (see slideshow below)
Coming to my favorite part, the desserts! We tried the Chebab Kateyaf that is a pancake stuffed with soft cheese & dates served with syrup & Rahash chocolate fondant. The portions of both the desserts is huggge and cannot be eaten by one person especially after trying out so many other dishes. The chocolate fondant was oozing with chocolate inside and the rahash bits was amazing!
To wash all down, we ordered the famous Karak Tea. It was flavorsome & typical khaleeji.
Overall, this was one of best tasting sessions we had ever attended. Right from the service to the portions & ambiance, everything was just perfect! Only concerns were a bit with the halloumi khameer which had become too soggy by the time I tried it & the taste was nothing like I was expecting.
Despite being a busy weekend, the service was on point! With staff being alert & the manager catering to all the needs it looked like this is an every day affair for them. We spoke to a guest, a gentleman from Bahrain who was with his family of 16 people and he said he loved this place & visited often because his kids enjoy the ambiance.
Visit Logma for the khaleeji cuisine & excellent service! Special thanks to the manager Mr. Mazen & our server Ms Rhea who catered to all our needs.
Visit Logma at Boxpark, Al Safa. Recommending to reserve a table.
