Freez is one of the most talked about cafes in Dubai. Why so you ask? Well they have sweet treats for the fussiest of eaters and their innovative crepes and cakes are popular amongst the younger crowd.
To find out what’s the hype all about I visited their outlet located at Al Qouz. It’s a small outlet but since most of their orders are takeaway/delivery this area seems sufficient for them. Colorful interiors that have graffiti of products from the 90’s such as Areej juices, oman chips and more.
Coming to the menu, we tried the Happiness cake,which is essentially a super moist red velvet cake topped with white and milk chocolate. This dish is not for those who are not sweet fanatics. It’s indeed delicious but a large portion for one. Apart from this I also tried the refreshing pistachio shake. Served in a jar of nutella, this shake is all you need to be summer ready! We loved it a lot. The other dish that I tried was the chocolate mousse cake, oozing liquid chocolate topped with more chocolate! I was in chocolate heaven! We also tried the lotus pancakes, kraft pancakes and more.
Overall, if you are in Al Qouz or if you spot their pop up stores, do give their dishes a try. They are sweet but delicious treats all priced reasonably.
